Laura is a true gem; a lady who has found her calling in life and is good at it. She wanted to be a beauty therapist since she was at school, and has been singled minded about achieving that. She simply loves her job. Sometimes, she says, I love the chat with clients, sometimes I love the quietness. Laura has a genuine talent with the clients and also with the products. She quickly understood my skin (something I have been trying to do for years!) and executed my hour long facial with care and calm; I didn’t feel hurried as Laura’s magic hands massaged and soothed. By mutual agreement we stopped the conversation and I drifted off to a place of well-being, enjoying the feelings, the ambiance, the scents. The Amara Spa is everything you want and hope for when you decide to go for a beauty treatment. It’s luxurious without being overwhelming; it’s friendly while keeping the client/therapist boundaries and its staff are friendly, knowledgeable and devoted. Like Lavish, it’s a little bit of affordable luxury.
