Q. What are the benefits of getting my business listed with Lavish?

A. Lavish is all about bringing potential new clients with money to spend into your business. Because Lavish makes indulgent gift giving so quick and easy, we think more people will buy health and beauty treatments as gifts. This means more people booking treatments with money to spend on themselves, and potentially more delighted first-time customers coming to spas and salons across the country (for you to impress into becoming loyal and regular clients, of course!). Lavish will also take on all the wrapping and delivery of vouchers leaving you free to focus on running your profitable salon, and delivering excellent beauty treatments and outstanding customer service. We will issue regular newsletters to keep you updated with any special promotions and marketing campaigns that we are running that should help boost your business just that little bit further.

Q. How much does it cost?

A. You can register your spa or salon with Lavish for free. This will give you a simple listing on lavish.co.uk so that people with a Lavish voucher to spend know that you accept them. Or you can choose to become a Premier partner and benefit from the opportunity to add more information about your business to your Lavish listing.  The Premier Listing gives more information, includes images, can feature special offers and promotions, is shown above Registered Spas and Salons on all searches and had much more impact. This involves a set up fee of £100 and then an annual fee of £110.

Q. How much is the commission?

A. Our commission depends on the level of membership. The amount of commission reduces as the level of membership increases. A simple Registered listing would be charged a commission on submitted vouchers of 20% and a more detailed Premier listing would  be charged a commission on submitted vouchers of 15%.

Q. What are the benefits of a Registered listing?

A.   With a Registered Listing you can accept Lavish vouchers for spa & beauty treatments, products and accommodation (where relevant.) with a 20% commission. This listing includes: -

Q. What are the benefits of a Premier listing?

A.   With a Premier Listing you can accept Lavish vouchers for spa & beauty treatments, products and accommodation (where relevant.) with a 15% commission. This more detailed listing includes these additional features:-
  • Premier Spas and Salons are shown first in any search results

  • Map link to show location

  • Logo and up to four images

  • Click through to More Details page

  • Information about the spa or salon,

  • Detail about Treatments available

  • Current promotions and offers

  • Opportunity to be shown in Featured Salon area within Spending page


Q. What other spas and salons partner with Lavish?
A. The best way to see what other spas and salons are on our network is to use our Find a Spa or Salon page. We partner with a very wide range of types of spas and salons. From luxury destinations spas in the country to high street salons. The reason for this is very simple - flexibility and choice. We want to make sure that each and every recipient of a Lavish voucher can find a place to use their voucher that matches their lifestyle (they may not want to travel, take time off work or have to arrange babysitters to use their pamper gift). We also want to make sure that their gift is meaningful and gives the recipient a real choice - so whatever the value of the voucher that they have been given, they can find a location to spend it on a pamper treatment that they would really like to have.

Q. How does it work?

A. Once you have listed your business with Lavish your spa or salon will be included on the Lavish listings. When someone chooses to spend a lavish voucher with you, all you need to do is accept them as you would normally accept cash. After the treatment you then submit the vouchers on-line. We will  redeem the value of the voucher, less our commission during the monthly redemption payment cycle. The level of commission varies depending on what type of listing you decide to have with us. 

Q. How do I join?

A. It's very easy to join – just complete the online form and press submit. We will process your listing within 14 days and email you a Welcome pack containing all the information you need to know about working with Lavish. Then you are a member of Lavish and can accept Lavish vouchers from customers.

Q. How do I accept Lavish vouchers from customers?

A. If a customer calls and wants to spend their Lavish vouchers with you, you can make the booking as normal. We strongly suggest that you ask for the voucher serial numbers at this point so that you can verify them online before the appointment. You can also refer to this Acceptance guide.

Q. What if the customers' Lavish vouchers have expired?

A. If a customer presents Lavish vouchers that show an expiry date that has already  passed  or that are showing as expired on the on-line voucher checker, they cannot be accepted by you. We will not be able to redeem Lavish vouchers that have expired back to you.

Q. How does the voucher redemption work?

A. A customer will come to your spa with a Lavish Gift Voucher that clearly states an amount. You must first verify the Lavish  voucher before accepting it.  You will then render services or give products to the customer for that amount and tthen submit the Lavish Gift Voucher using our on-line redemption process.  You can refer to this Redemption guide for more information. We will  transfer the money by bank wire transfer or issue a cheque for the amount of the Gift Voucher, less our commission, during our monthly redemption payment cycle.

Q. What if someone comes in with a Lavish Gift Voucher for an amount that doesn't match the price of our services?

A. If the voucher is for too little money, just charge the customer the difference at the time the services are rendered. There is no commission on this additional payment. If the voucher is for too much money, most spas issue one of their own gift vouchers good only at their spa, for the balance.

Q. Can I still continue with my own gift voucher programme?

A. Lavish gift vouchers are not intended to replace your own gift voucher scheme but to help bring you new clients (although many salons and spas prefer not to deal with the administration of gift vouchers). Our Gift vouchers are mostly aimed at people who may not be able to get to your salon to buy a voucher, companies who want to buy in bulk or people who may not know the recipients preferred local salon or spa.

Q. How many new customers should I expect to see?

A. It's really hard to know this in advance and will vary depending on season, location, and other factors. However, Premier Partners are given priority in special promotions and seasonal offers. You may also get clients coming to you who don't have a voucher but who have seen you in the Listings.

Q. How can join Lavish?

Q. How long does it take for my membership to go through?

A. It takes up to 14 days to process your listing, once you receive a Welcome pack you are good to go and can start accepting Lavish vouchers.

Q. What am I agreeing to by joining Lavish?

A. By enrolling online, you are agreeing to the Partner Terms and Conditions.

Q. What kind of commitment am I making by signing up?

A. The agreement is good for one year and then will renew automatically 12 months from the date that you listed your business with us. However, the programme is also risk free, as you can leave at any time with 90 days' written notice.
